Hidden amongst rolling farmland on the edge of the tiny hamlet of Ottery, but only two miles from historic Tavistock, birthplace of Sir Francis Drake, The Coachouse is conveniently situatedfor day trips to any part of Devon or Cornwall.

The Coachouse licenced and has two bars for use of the hotel and restaurant patrons only.

All bedrooms have an en-suite shower or bathrooms, TV, central heating, direct dial telephones, radio/clock/alarms and tea and coffee making facilities.

We can supply name and address of a company who will insure your holiday should you require it.

Should you prefer a more active holiday we are only 1 mile from Milemead Fisheries ( coarse and trout fishing ) and 3 miles from Tavistock Trout Fisheries which has several top trout lakes. Natural history guided tours from Tavistock and riding or walking on the Tors of nearby Dartmoor National Park are also available.

There are also many excellent golf clubs in the area that welcome non-members including Tavistock Golf Club and St. Mellion International Golf Club.
